Press Record and the Icon on the desktop turns RED.

Press Play and the speaker allows you to rapidly check the recording just made.

Press Rewind or Fast Forward to move to the correct location just like a Cassette Recorder.

Make an mistake - just press RECORD again at the spot of your error and the recording overwrites.

All of the buttons are "soft touch", requiring a single touch to operate. No need hold the buttons down, so that you can use vDictate for long periods of time with minimal fatigue.

Vdictate is fast. Press record & then press play without pressing the record button again (to stop the recording). Or alternately while playing back dictation you can drop into record without pressing the play button again (to stop play back).
